Kindle DX Battery Replacement Guide

Step 1: Power Down and Prepare

Before starting any repairs, power down your Kindle DX and disconnect it from any power sources. Additionally, remove any memory cards or peripherals that may be connected.

Step 2: Position the Kindle

Flip the Kindle so the back is facing upwards.

Step 3: Remove the Bottom Cover

Push an opening tool against the bottom cover. Slide the tool along the seam of the cover to gently pry it open. Be careful not to damage the cover or the device.
