Djokovic cruises into Wimbledon quarterfinals

Novak Djokovic produced an impressive performance at Wimbledon on Wednesday to cruise into the quarterfinals, but the 24-time grand slam champion was far from his best.

The 35-year-old Serb overcame Jannik Sinner 6-2 6-2 6-2 in just over two hours on Centre Court.

Djokovic won 88% of first-serve points and broke Sinner's serve five times. The victory sets up a quarterfinal clash with Russian Karen Khachanov, who defeated American Frances Tiafoe in straight sets earlier on Wednesday. Djokovic is seeking his seventh Wimbledon title and 21st grand slam title overall. He is now the favorite to win the tournament, but he will need to improve his performance if he wants to defeat Khachanov and the other top players in the draw.
